ASA Staffing Index

The ASA Staffing Index tracks weekly trends in temporary and contract staffing employment. It is based on survey data from a stratified panel of small, medium, and large staffing companies across various industry sectors. The index, along with weekly and year-to-year percent changes in staffing employment, provides near real-time insights into staffing industry activity. Survey results are weighted by company size to reflect employment trends, and the data is posted nine days after the close of each work week.

The baseline value for the ASA Staffing Index was set at 100 in June 2006.
